| [atrb=style,width: 460px; background-color: B9B9B9; border: 10px dashed #6D1212; border-right: 15px solid #6D1212; border-left: 15px solid #6D1212; padding: 5px, bTable][th] russian bratva if you ask anyone the history of the verrentenikov bratva, you aren't going to get any clear answers. there is no history on record. shrouded in mystery, few know the verrentenikovs intensified in 1922, when they were swallowed by the soviet union. for thirty years prior, their name only echoed the moscow streets through petty crime and trashcan fires. dimitri verrentenikov turned to crime in 1892 when he lost everything - family, job, you name it. he was only becoming involved in blackmarket weapons dealing in 1922. that is when everything in eastern europe darkened and russian criminals turned serious. it was survival, he always claimed. unlike many other criminal groups, dimitri grew his bratva from nothing. all he ever wanted was to be iconic, important. he faced a choice: turn his blood icy or fall into the soviet whirlpool. he turned into a ruthless blizzard. by 1924, he had found himself a wife and two children. that was around the time people began to whisper his name. despite primarily working alone, he was beginning to manipulate other families into his business. five families - that was all he ever allowed. it was a small bratva, operating against the others that were multiplying the longer russia was considered socialist. but thirty years had taught him how to leave an impression. the particular cruelty of the verrentenikov bratva was quickly becoming truth. from the very beginning, there were messy internal affairs which continued to the present. once his children could understand, he taught them his ways. it became necessary for every family to do so, in order to keep their bloodlines flowing. anything else, and the entire brigade would be purged. by the time he died in 1940, three families had been massacred due to disloyalty. that was when son evgeni took over as pakhan. his father taught him. for a nation neck-deep in darkness, the bratva was thriving. with crime rising rapidly, and law enforcement irrelevant, he expanded their entire business. under his rein, weapons dealing turned to drug and human trafficking, political bribery, and illegal oil trade. the verrentenikov family intensified dimitri's initial rules as the generations passed. disloyalty was rewarded with death. children are taught to add ice to their veins. nothing was too dirty for them. quickly gaining the reputation of a cold rein, few other organizations challenged the bratva. it was a small circle, everyone knew. but a deadly one. they walked very fine lines and had very closed doors. it was, and always has been, extremely difficult to become involved unless you are a direct bloodline. every child was taught the only way to take on associates was when there was no other choice. most dangling members are collateral damage or taken because they were never killed. when the cold war hung over the soviet air, the bratva breached the soviet borders. right up until 1991, the verrentenikov's were one of the most lethal bratvas. it was only in recent years did they become internationally involved. little has changed since the initial formation. there was never any reason to research them. because of their influence over their home country, still shattered from the years of dictatorship, there is very little legal action. their history is nearly blemish free, apart from a few harmless brigade issues. the verrentenikovs remain untouched, despite international law enforcement knowing their names. presently operating out of miami and boston, in america, the sakahrov brigade located to california simply because of inner-brigade issues. unlike other mafias, the russians have no care for what their soldiers do, only that their work is done. it is no lie that russian internal affairs are often more chaotic than their outward business. no one knows why. but a rumour of their iron-fist rein is beginning to circle; a particular mentioning the entire novikov brigade being massacred over nothing. but who knows. the soviet union destroyed any real information on this bratva, many still don't believe there is any criminal activity in russia. right. no one really knows why the verrentenikovs are walking valkyrie soil, other than to get involved with the corrupt town - their two biggest enemies aren't leaving them out of the fun - and deal with their own people. there is nothing else to be done. this bratva has been structured the same since 1922. |
verrentenikov brigade BRIGADE ONE SPECIALIZES IN INTERNAL AFFAIRS, DRUG & NUCLEAR WEAPON TRAFFICKING, & SPECIALIZED MURDER HITS open membership  ALEKSANDER 'ALLY CAT' VERRENTENIKOV VERRENTENIKOV PAKHAN - 53 YEARS OLD unplayable/pb: fredric lehne the pakhan of the verrentenikov bravata - russia's most prominent crime organization -, aleksander is no stranger to the cold traditions. having no trouble in informing others of his family's tactics, he has brought a new wave to his organization. only in recent years has this bratva stopped people in their tracks, drawing back to the darkness during soviet russia. and this can all be traced back to aleksander and his icy reign. valuing loyalty and blood above all else, he has made it absolute, to both his enemies and allies. rumour is, he's made the russian internal affairs messier than any of his many cold conquests. an exceptionally controlling and obsessive pakhan, and father, there only seems to be a blizzardy future for his ranks.  LIZA 'TIK TOK' VERRENTENIKOV VERRENTENIKOV "MOMMY" - 47 YEARS OLD unplayble/pb: angie harmon people have always wondered why liza married into the verrentenikov family. there could not be a person more contrasted to her icy husband. with the blizzard that was brought when aleksander was made pakhan, liza accompanied with a warmth he says "only italians must suffer with". forever the mother figure, to her own children and extending through the entire bratva, she tends to avoid the messy path left behind. suffering from huntington's, her presence has began to lack severely in recent years. few see her anymore, but her loving efforts remain constant. apparently aleksander left her in moscow, under the care of his shamed son, in order to continue his work. i guess it's only a matter of time before 'tik tok' lives up to her nickname.  STANISLAV 'TWO TONE' VERRENTENIKOV THE HEIR, SOVIETNIK - 26 YEARS OLD played by asia/pb: jensen ackles one of only three children, stanislav is the only heir to his father's bratva. even at a young age, he holds one of the highest rankings in the organization, the sovietnik or councilor. because of the small bloodline, he and his sister look over the majority of the russian's business. but despite living up to the cold-hearted reputation the bratva has earned, it is no mystery that he holds the empathy that only his mother could have. as well, he was never required to prove his loyalty to his father. he had been a valued member for his entire life. and in spite of the strained relationship with aleksander - they rarely speak, he was left to care for his dying mother - he had been granted an immense amount of power. putting aside his secretive and destructive reputation, it was indeed "staz" who sent a cruel message to all of the members of the russian mafia: he ordered the purge of an entire brigade. it is no rumour, the internal affairs of this bratva are messier than anything on the outside.  SASHA 'MAD HATTER' VERRENTENIKOV VERRENTENIKOV "PRINCESS" - 23 YEARS OLD unplayable/pb: sasha pivovarova it was sasha and her twin sister valentina who had to prove their loyalty, much like everyone else. all despite her direct connection, as a verrentenikov. exceptionally cold, with rumours as a joyously sadist circling, sasha has become a highly valued member of her family's bratva. want to know a secret? valentina never became the same. her family holds loyalty above all else. poor val disregarded this rule, and broke away, being named traitor number one. it was sasha who pulled the final trigger, putting her own blood into her grave. since, she is one of the most respected (and feared) verrentenikov's. in an unspoken bond with her older brother, sasha generally takes care of any families who mistake loyalty for stretching the rules - all without batting an eyelash. while stanislav is generally the one taking care of the actual business, it's sasha who enforces what being a russian criminal is all about.  VALENTINA VERRENTENIKOV VERREN "SWEETHEART" - WAS 17 YEARS OLD unplayable/deceased/pb: vlada roslyakova no one other than the verrentenikov bratva members know what happened to young valentina, sasha's sweeter, kinder, twin sister. taking directly after her mother, val was never an outstanding member of her family's business. she never even craved acceptance. the only two outstanding tasks in her life was when she betrayed her family and became one of the only living traitors. and second - she was killed, in cold blood, by her own sister. no one ever knew what happened.  --- KERANOVIC OBSHCHANK - 29 YEARS OLD played by no one/pb: no one
 IVAN SAKAHROV BRIGADE ONE AVTORITYET - 48 YEARS OLD played by unplayable/pb: balthazar getty it is no lie that ivan sakahrov is one soft-hearted russian. the brigadier, or 'authority' of the first of four brigades in the verrentenikov bratva, he does not hold the same icy command over his little minions. married to the love of his life, daphne collins, he is one of few bratva members to marry outside of the circle. living in boston for a number of years now, he bred three members for his brigade. he is the head of russian-american communications. spending his entire life serving this bratva, he has gained an immense amount of respect, for both his gentle but firm leadership, as well as his commitment to the bratva. no dark history is haunting him or his family, something the verrentenikovs seem to be happy to avoid. --- DEMIKOV VERRENTENIKOV BOYEVIK- 25 YEARS OLD played by no one yet/pb: open demikov grew up in rural russia. his family never had any real connection to the bratva until his parents were tight for money and looked for illegal ways to get ahead. he became loosely involved with the novikov brigade. around the time they were going dirty, his parents stopped their payments. instead of looking to collect, members of the brigade killed demikov's parents and lit their entire farm on fire. they were turning the gun onto demikov when the two verrentenikov children walk into the middle of the situation in an investigation on the dirty brigade.stanislav and sasha killed the present novikov's, but when the time to deal with demikov came, it was a mutual decision not to kill him. none of this was his fault. to tie up loose ends, he was permitted to get involved with the bratva, as one of their personal associates. since, he has stuck closely by sasha and staz verrentenikov. PIERCE SAKAHROV-COLLINS BRIGADE ONE BOYEVIK, HACKER- 25 YEARS OLD played by no one/pb: open raised in "the life" just like the rest of his family, pierce has always been considered the shining star of his family. he is of an unusual aloof and cold nature, pierce has become a master at manipulation. many think of him as a replica of his father. in reality, he finds no use in others apart from feeding his calculating plans, and ensuring his selfish needs. he has always shown more potential than almost anyone else, it has driven a considerable wedge between him and his brother. his younger sister, on the other hand, spent much of her life attached at the hip. he brought her along, always teaching her his ways. until recently. another selfish plan, he set her to plant drugs on jamie to ensure the failure of his assignment. instead of bailing her out, he called the authorities and watched her spend two years in prison. apart from familial issues, pierce is a bratva favorite. impossibly enough, he has managed to get into the verrentenikov's inner circle. with this poser, he can do just about anything. his loyalty, however, will always remain russian.  JAMIE 'COLD WAR' COLLINS BRIGADE ONE BOYEVIK- 23 YEARS OLD played by asia/pb: max irons also a krysh, torpedo, and byki for his family's brigade, jamie collins is no stranger to the crime world. raised in boston with the rest of his family, he's been around "the life" his entire life. his father trained him right from birth. despite spending much of his youth rebelling with the boston locals, jamie stepped up and became an initiated member of the bratva when he was eighteen. despite never quite living up to his brother's name, there is no questioning his loyalty. known especially for his cold-blooded nature, few find genuine respect for him. many simply say he is another robotic soldier to listen to the real bosses. personally, jamie doesn't quite know what he is. he had done some of the dirtiest things allowed, and has a remarkably dark reputation. despite having an immense amount of "respect", this struggling sakahrov member is still trying to find his place among the russians. so far? not going so well. he is a loner by design, and the circling rumors are only getting worse. - - - COLLINS BRIGADE ONE BOYEVIK- 20 YEARS OLD played by no one/pb: open never given the opportunity to make a name for herself, she spent her entire childhood attached to pierce. she did as he did, learned everything from him. it worked for awhile but thanks to a failed plan, and the realization of her brother's selfish obsession, she spent two years in prison. it turned her cold. while oddly ethical, much like her father, she has built up walls. only recently released, the irrational littlest collins is looking for her place. all she's ever been known is as pierce's loyal pet, and a stupid russian who got caught. she wants to change that. neutral in her family's brigade, her experiences has flared up her selfish side. while remaining always loyal, if there is a situation between life and death, the seductive collins will take her own way out.  KSENIA SAKAHROV BRIGADE ONE BOYEVIK- 20 YEARS OLD played by: maddiet/pb: candice accola only member of her immediate family to be an actual bratva member. her father, victor, is ivan's brother but distanced himself at a young age.  VICTOR SAKAHROV BRIGADE ONE SHESTYORKA- 60 YEARS OLD unplayable/pb: xander berkeley victor was not raised like ivan was. if he had not distanced himself as a teenager, who knows what could of happened. but it is was it is. victor sakahrov grew up outside of his family's criminal circle. it was only well into his thirties did he begin to pay more attention to the illegal acts of his family. soon becoming just another informant, his attempts to overstep his boundaries landed his daughter as "damage" for his actions, so she is being initiated as one of ivan's own children. these days, however, he is just another associate, a member of "the sixth". his loyalty is to the sakahrov brigade, and that is all that really matters about him. oh. no. rumour has it, he is the father of infamous russian traitor jules sakahrov - but who knows, right? it's not like he matters.  MILANA LUTROVA BRIGADE ONE SHESTYORKA- 20 YEARS OLD played by lainey/pb: daniela freitas milana was forced into working for the first brigade when she was thirteen. her father was a respected member of brigade one. well, up until he broke a few cardinal rules and was forced to play russian roulette for his and lana's freedom. he lost, and lana has been paying off his debt for the past seven years by running drugs and whatever her superiors tell her to run. she is a lowly associate, but has found herself in the verrentenikov's inner circle merely because stanislav trusts her. she wants to be free, but her somewhat dependent personality doesn't want to leave because it is all she knows.  EKATERINA NOVIKOVA NOVIKOV PURGE, VERRENTENIKOV AVTORITYET- 23 YEARS OLD played by ruby/pb: blake lively no one does cold, ruthless killer better than ekaterina novikova. kat was once a member of the now purged novikov brigade. she was the individual who single handedly brought down her family. per the request of staz verrentenikov, kat shot and killed every member of her family, etching the soviet symbols into their flesh, that is, until she came across her younger sister. kat to this day doesn't know why she went against orders and spared her sister but it was the only time she's ever disobeyed the family. now some few years later, kat is in valkyrie under the trusted verren inner circle. she steals and deals arms under the table, specializing in bombs and nuclear weapons. she hates anything and everything that isn't related to the russians and isn't afraid to take the lives of key members of other families. vaughn was born a criminal, raised a criminal, and lives... a criminal. his immediate family means the world to him, however, the bratva is his life. vaughn has lived in russia his entire life, where he met his extremely independent wife, tatiana. vaughn was always a brigade two soldier, having the brigade two family name also helped. in russia, he worked under his dear uncle. what do they specialize in? well, human trafficking. some wonder why vaughn can be so heartless when forcing men, women, and children has sex slaves to the wealthy that can afford them. if someone asked him how he would feel if his daughter was a sex slave, he would laugh and say 'it's a good thing i don't have one.' recently, he was promoted to an avtorityet as he moved to valkyrie with his family. to continue their sex trafficking, they opened up an exclusive club on the upper floors of the inferno called, luxuria, where they cater to only clients high enough to pay for any kind of sex they want with whoever they could imagine.

tatiana was never meant to stay at home and raise the kids. she was rambunctious, independent, and very opinionated. tatiana was extreme in some ways. she would love someone with all of her heart, and could hate someone with every fiber of her being. and somehow she was the woman for vaughn. she was all fine with becoming his wife as long as she got in on the bratva's criminal activities. tatiana actually came in handy. with her long blonde hair and her blue eyes, she was the perfect bait to lure new girls into the brothels. she found time to have two sons whom she is extremely proud of despite the fact they kill and do things for the bratva. now that she is getting older and with the move to valkyrie, she has retired from her baiting job and now acts as host and caretaker at luxuria, the club she runs with her husband. if you were to ask her, tatiana would say she's had a very successful life with absolutely no regrets.

the eldest son of vaughn and tatiana dombrovski is a true terror. his strength and force is not to be trifled with. his arrogance radiates off of him, but as a son to an avtorityet to a loyal brigade, he feels like he has the right. his job is as an enforcer and a bodyguard, which comes in handy being in the sex trafficking business. he spends most of his days at luxuria, as the body guard and occasional customer after hours, of course. he is very close to his parents and views his brother as his partner in crime. however, he is sometimes difficult to work with when it comes to other members. he uses force to get what he wants and doesn't bother with the rest.

inheriting all of his mother's... best traits, avel is the youngest dombrovski. though acquiring his father's leadership skills, avel is all about the fun times. he's charming yet loud, and daring yet rowdy. if a member in the bratva made his first kill? avel finds that as an excuse to pop the champagne and make a night of it. it's been a few years since he became a torpedo, which in bratva terms, means contract killer which is either a good or bad thing because avel is very trigger happy. though he is all about letting the good times roll, the only time he is fully focused is when he is given a job to do. just because he kills as a job doesn't mean he doesn't work with his family, as he helps with day-to-day operations at luxuria and helps secure clients and on occasion recruit girls. his alluring personality can be very dangerous and avel definitely knows this and works it to his advantage in any given situation. his father often scolds him for being impulsive and running into things blindly, but his mother always defends him as tatiana was exactly like this too. living in a hotel for the first time in his life is very new to him, but he wasted no time in taking advantage to every offer he's had at the inferno, finding a little fun in poker games and the black jack tables. but be warned, avel hates losing, at anything.

you thought there should be more than one place? the rumors of the russians claiming the inferno as their own is no lie. aleksander himself has put his inner circle as general management. most bratva members room or most often work there in order to overlook their business. the verrentenikovs operate directly from their rooms, from trivial business to their most secretive assignments. it's no issue only having one base, however. every criminal with a brain knows not to cross the line - half of their loved ones are probably staying here.
