THIS MEANS WAR --- THE RUSSIANS TAKE A HIT
it's that time. we are going to have another site event that should be fun because a lot of people can get involved. so, with so many crime groups inhabiting one city, there is bound to be some warfare.
the italians and the russians have a bitter rivalry that results in much bloodshed, but now that the russians decided to set up permanent residence in valkyrie, the italians are none too pleased. in an attempt to show them who runs the city, the italians enlisted in kale barker, a friend of their ally, the sirens. you see, kale's area of expertise is bomb-making, and the italians are using his special skills to send a message to the russians. the russians run the inferno hotel and casino, but they also do business and secret meetings off property in, of all places, an upscale chinese restaurant in the very populated and very busy downtown valkyrie. with the key players in place, the bomb is planted and is set to go off the night of a meeting between russian bratva members.
even though the hit is specific towards one group, several character groups will be affected, especially civilians who are always walking around downtown doing what they do. basically, this event is a way to get some warfare rolling while still involving all kinds of groups. we'll be setting up a board in the next couple days and you can plot however you want with the explosion and thread it out with whoever you want. below, we'll have some specifics about the information surrounding the explosion that you should follow, but other than that, it's up to you how your characters interact and deal with the hit, there will be some people who die, a lot of people that would probably be injured. it doesn't matter what group you're apart of, you can still be plotting it out.
the specifics
- bomb detonates at 9:24 pm minutes before the meeting starts for the russians at china wok restaurant
- police and ambulances arrive at 9:35 pm
- media arrives at 9:45 pm
again, plot with whoever you want, and you can start as soon as we make the board for it.
