so... my name is lainey and i was watching four brothers clips on youtube. and well, i got this idea. before i go into this, i know the options for some of the brothers have popular-ish faces, so no hard feelings if someone wants one of the faces for another character. but pretty much the top picture is the one i most see as the brother and the other two bottom ones are other options if you don't like the main one. again, i had a certain look going so if you were thinking of another face, you must ask me first, but keep in mind, i'm pretty adamant on the faces i chose. also, i make good graphics, so if you're worried about not being able to locate enough pictures, i can definitely help with that. ok with that being said, their history is below. so, haha, bare with me, this might be a rambling piece of something.
the farraday (pronounced fair-a-day) family are valkyrie natives so, insta-plots if you take one. so, anyway, they've grown up in valkyrie, and they were of the lower middle class. so, they always had to manage their money, never overspent, that sort of deal. they father was a light gambler, but when the youngest brother was three, their mother died tragically in a car accident a few days before christmas. the family completely changed. their father was always relying on the boys to do things around the house like making dinner, babysitting, and cleaning. their dad started gambling more and more until the family had to move into a smaller house because their dad was spending all their money. the brothers themselves were always close but as high school came and went and the eldest brother left for college and never looked back causing fights to break out more with their dad at the home and arguing was going on nightly to the point where sometimes the cops were called. the name 'farraday' was a common name within the police station and everyone knew the bad luck the farradays always seemed to bring with them.
as they got older the second eldest peaced out of valkyrie and moved to seattle washington to try and have a music career with his high school band. the last two brothers grew close again because the others ditched them. after the second youngest graduated high school he moved into an apartment, bringing the youngest with him. they left their father at the house to continuously gamble away whatever money he seemed to scrounge up. even the brothers that remained in valkyrie didn't stay in contact with him. rarely the brothers contacted each other as they just started to drift apart.
but then their father died. and this is where the juicy stuff starts, if your still reading xD but, good ol' papa farraday was found face down in the dirty muddy part of the beach with a single gunshot wound to the back of the head. a clear sign of a murder. and this is where the fun would begin, all the brothers come back to reunite and get their father's things in order, attend of the funeral, and tying up loose ends. because it was a murder, the two brothers from out of town want to stick around for a little bit and see what the police are doing with their father's murder case. it's here when the brothers discover that their father was much more than just a heavy alcoholic gambler. he was tied up in italian business.basically, what i think would be cool was if their dad stole money/owed money/was hiding something of the italians maybe a combination of all three, but the italians killed their dad, and knowing that he had sons, pushed their father's problems into their problems, bringing them into the crime world when they didn't have anything to do with it prior. it can be really fun, italians can threaten them, beat one of them up, all to force them to come up with money none of them really have, while not being able to tell the cops what group was responsible for their father's murder, and starting to grow closer like they used to when they were young kids. if you're still reading this, congrats. below are the brothers. you'll notice that i pretty much left them open for you to add things in.
ANTHONY 'A.J' FARRADAY, 32
played by rae, yay!
- eldest brother who assumed the natural role of 'man of the house' when their mom died. he took care of his brothers when their dad didn't. eleven years old when his mother died.
- motivated, intelligent, focused, career-oriented.
- constantly fought with their dad, got worse when he was nearing end of high school
- when he graduated from high school, he moved to another city in california to attend college. (his intelligence got him scholarships to attend college) his major is up to you.
- once he graduated from school he stayed in the city and started a job in the career path of whatever you want that probably matches up with what he studied in school.
- feels really guilty for leaving his brothers, but really needed to get out before things between him and their dad got worse.
- has no intention on staying in valkyrie beyond tying up his father's loose ends
- all other history/relationships/etc of his time wherever he ended up is up to you.

DOMINIC FARRADAY, 30

- second oldest brother, stayed in valkyrie. nine years old when his mother died.
- pushover, humble, creative
- never understood why his father didn't want to raise them.
- grew up with a heart condition where one of his valves was flawed. his family never had enough money to get surgery, but did for medicine, though it had been one more thing to fight about
- didn't stick around because he was constantly getting into arguments with his brothers and father over house bills and their lives.
- felt guilty living the youngest of his brothers, but had to get out.
- moved to seattle with some friends to start a band and get rich. never really happened and they all had to get blue collar jobs. works at the port of seattle transporting cargo.

- second youngest, stayed in valkyrie. eight years old when his mother died.
- laid-back, doesn't sweat the small stuff, enjoys life.
- owns the strip club 'underneath' won it in a poker game when he was twenty four
- has a lot of resentment towards the older brothers for just leaving after high school
- worked jobs including construction and fishing before winning a poker game that gave him valkyrie's premiere strip club, underneath
- took the youngest farraday brother in after he graduated, and the youngest was thirteen, has been working at the strip club for the past five years as well.
- was the first one notified about their father's death and called his other brothers to come back to valkyrie.
- all other history/relationships/etc of his time wherever he ended up is up to you.

- youngest brother and never forgets it. three years old when his mother died.
- cocky, arrogant, temper issues
- he hates that he didn't really remember their mother since he was so young when she died.
- built up a lot of resentment when his brothers started leaving to get "better" lives.
- moved in with the second brother when he was thirteen because living in the house had become unbearable.
- hasn't had contacted with his father in over nine years. didn't feel anything when he learned he died.
- is the only of the four brothers that has connections in the crime world, which might come in useful. though none of his brothers know this.
- all other history/relationships/etc of his time wherever he ended up is up to you.
