- both were defectors that went their own way.

- father was a drunk, bashed him and his mum.
- when ten his father killed his mother.
- after that was thrown into the foster system.
- was bumped around a lot because he was a trouble maker.
- never did very well at school, just didn't care.
- dropped out of school and the system at sixteen.
- entered the army soon after.
- ended up going into special forces green beret but after half his team was killed in south america he was honourably discharged.
- went to work for private security, ended up forming his own company 'bennett solutions', a mercenary firm.
- a year or so ago he picked up josephine, a girl who tried to steal from him.
- he took her in and now she's like his little sister.
- she's away at boarding school (but will be brought in later).
