Lola is a homicide detective for the Valkyrie law enforcement. She's extremely dedicated to her work and really truly believes in justice against the corrupt. She's a good investigator, yet she hasn't gotten the opportunity to do much in Valkyrie. She's always viewed as the little sister of the homicide unit and she can't stand it. She desperately wants to get out on the streets, but rather than collaring the bad guy, she's stuck doing paper work. Lola's just dying for a big case. Her big break.

Lola came to Valkyrie rather recently. She lived in Los Angeles previously where she was a rookie detective for the LAPD (following in her father's footsteps). But, her success wasn't long lasting. She fell prey to wrongful allegations that she was in cahoots with a witness on a very infamous and important case. And her name had been tarnished throughout the city of angels. It didn't matter all the good she had done in cleaning up the streets up until then. It didn't matter that she had risen through the ranks in the force faster than any other rookie detective in history. Everyone was so willing to believe in something that would get the focus off of the running allegations of corruption in the mayor's office. And nothing was better for that than the fall of L.A.'s golden girl.

Lola still isn't over her tarnished reputation and she doesn't talk about it much. She tries to focus on work as much as she can. When she's not working, she has a bit of an affinity for boxing, a sport she fell in love with when she was a teenager. Bare knuckle boxing matches are her best and most favorite to partake in. All of this results in her being able to take care of herself, not to mention her fearless attitude. On the flip side, she loves a good pair of heels and a tight skirt. It's not a surprise that people underestimate her. You can read more in her profile!

• Lola's a nice girl underneath it all, so it's not a stretch that she'd have some friends. But, she is concerned with work most of the time, so it doesn't leave much room for parties or get-togethers.
  
  
• I'm super eager to get Lola in the thick of the crime scene in Valkyrie so I would love to give her some enemies. She really never backs down from a fight and is willing to confront anyone for the sake of justice; so, I can see how she'd piss some people off. I'd love that!
  
  
• Lola's lovers are few and far between. Again, she's very focused on work and leaves little time for anything else. Yet, that isn't to say that she isn't inexperienced. Men are, in fact, one of her weaknesses. She loves the thrill of danger and mystery, so it's not out of question that a criminal could charm her.

Lola's big break should be figuring out who killed the Papa Farraday!

I'm thinking that she could be assigned to the case and AJ, being the eldest, wants to meet with her privately to discuss details, but when he figures out who she is he might dub her as less than worthy seeing as he heard of her previous mishap. He's been residing in the state of California his whole life and since you used 'infamous', I'm figuring that a lot of people know about those false allegations? Anyway, he'll doubt her competency as a detective, demand someone else and when his demands go unheard he'll have to settle to finally working with her for the sake of finding the murderer! I mean, I'm pretty sure each brother is going to try working with the crime side as well to fill in some gaps, BUT a detective has to be involved. and they'll hate each other by day and make wonderful love in the night

anyway, he'll begrudgingly work with her to eventually figure out that it was the RUSSIANS (i think?!) and we can go on from there?

anthony is one of the capos in the italian mafia; specifically on gun trades, so maybe we could play up on that or something? since she's newer to valkyrie, anthony may not automatically mark her as a cop (especially if he caught her in heels and a skirt), and since he's, uh, quite the flirt, he would be more than willing to try to seduce her pretty face into his bed.

so yeah, that's all i've got. i'm bad at this, haha.

hey, welcome to the site! i'm lainey.

rae beat me to it, but i was totally going to suggest that she is assigned to the farraday homicide case. i play dominic farraday, who is one of aj's younger brothers. dom's pretty understanding, and since he really didn't like his father he'd be like 'yeah... you don't have to lose sleep over this case.' so, he'll know her if she's the one heading the case. the italians were actually going to be the ones behind the murder. and i have an italian, luca giovanni, that was going to be present at the murder, so there's some drama there since he's one of the higher-ranking italians.

next, i have phoebe monroe, and she's a forensic psychiatrist. i think she and lola should be friends. she sometimes helps with law enforcement cases involving children and multiple murders, but she would understand the inferior complex in a male-dominate career field like lola does, so i can see them being great friends because they have the similar head-strong personalities.

that was all i really could think of as of now, i might probably think of something else, but the rest of my characters are here so if there is a character that catches your eye, definitely say something. but yeah, sorry this was a fail of a plot response.

I think all of that sounds wonderful. Lola would probably pick up on who he is, seeing as her days are spent staring at pictures of Valkyrie's criminals. I think it'd be fun to have someone not know who she is but have her know who they are. She'd definitely play it up, play into his hands and she just might fall for his seductions (: I'd love to thread this! Who shall start??

Hi Lainey! Thanks for the welcome, I'm excited to be here!

I seriously love all your characters, it's hard for me to choose which one I'd pair with Lola first! Of course I love the conflict that comes from any of the farraday brothers; plus Lola's believes very intensely in justice that she might clash with Avel if he doesn't seem keen on finding his father's murderer.

As for Phoebe, I think it'd be fun to give Lola a girlfriend, especially someone who understands the strain of law work. Lola might be able to help Phoebe with her internal battles too; Lola's tough and if she respects and likes Phoebe (which I know she will) she'd do anything to help her out.

Soooo I'm sorry I'm not much help on this! It's up to you on which character you'd like to plot/thread with first! I'll do anything!

So I was reading what Lainey had to say, and I have no idea what's going on with the Farraday case, butttt if there's something involving the Italians, Anthony is likely to be there, or closely tied to those who are there (he and Luca are suppose to buds), so that could definitely provide some drama, especially if Lola starts to fall for Anthony's charm. Anyways, I think these two could be quite fun to have some interactions between. I'm definitely not the best at starting threads but if you want me to, I can!

heehee, there might have been a little confusion. avel is my russian and dom is my farraday, i just happen to be on avel's account atm. but i'm all for dom and lola clashing over finding (or in his case, not finding) his father's killer. she could even be slightly suspicious of him if he was being a jerk about it, but obviously he had nothing to do with it.

avel, on the other hand, if you'd like to plot with him is a contract killer for the russians, and he just got here a few months ago. so, they definitely wouldn't get along if she needed any enemies.

and phoebe and lola, sounds good. she'd need to vent at times with everything that has been going on with her, haha. maybe they haven't met yet, and they could meet at the department, lola there because she works there, and phoebe because... could have been tying up loose ends with an old case she helped on and they get to talking? or, they could have met when lola first moved here? i'm up for anything.

Hey hey hey. So sorry I haven't posted already *tis lame* My name is Anna, welcome to the site. All my characters are listed HERE If any take your fancy, that I don't mention here, just give a shout out. All my babes need some love so... yeah. Oh but actually, there might be more info on them on my shipper page but I am not sure how up to date all the little summaries are. Like ignore Jade and Hugo's old face... They all need love, end of story lol


The first thing that shot out at me is I have my boy Hugo here<3 He is also a homicide detective, he transferred from New York when his 13 year old got into Valkyrie University, he's a dad of a super genius. But anyways, detectives usually have partners, and I was gonna request a partner but honestly, Lola sort of exactly the kid of girl I was gonna request so I don't know if you're interested but these two could totally be partners? Maybe just recently paired, he would not treat her like a desk jockey and maybe that makes them become close. I could see them being good friends. Plus there could be some drama between them because Hugo's son is dying, slowly but he needs a heart transplant or he'll die and Hugo's basically lost everyone and is refusing to lose Ace but he can't afford the surgery, so he eventually is going to tamper with evidence so the Russians will pay for his son's surgery. Hugo grew up homeless in New York as a pick pocket, as much as he believes in defending the law he also believes the law is not black and white and at this point he would do anything to save his kid. But if they become close and then she finds out about that it could cause issues since she's still very career focused.

I also think we should plot her and Carter. Carter is my boy who works for the Italian's, he's a sniper but he also happens to be kind of a deep thinker and gentle in his everyday demeanor and if she ever met him while knowing what he did, even if she couldn't prove it for the arrest or something, I feel like it might throw her off because he comes across as that mysterious guy who's iq is through the roof and is both gentle and deadly. lol I don't know, he's hard to describe but I don't have specific ideas, I just think they'd be interesting.

Sadly, that's all my brain has at the moment, hit me up if you think of anything for the others.
