He is my Chain-Smoking Priest.

Luke has a very dark past that just lead him to his current career. He is, in fact, working as a Junior Priest on one of the eastern styled Catholic churches. He is not Orthodox. He strongly believes God is the only one who should pass judgment so he doesn't judge people by what faith they are, race, gender, sexuality or anything like that. He will only judge someone as a bad person based on how kind they are. He is also allowed to date and get married and while he's not a virgin, he is still one who respects "no sex til marriage." And he needs to feel that he's in love before he'll have sex with someone. Might change while drunk but he's not exactly a partier. As a Junior Priest, he gives a short sermon every Sunday but he is not the lead. He deals with Sunday school and charity events more. He can also receive confessions.

He speaks fluent English, Italian, and knows a bit of Latin.

Personality-wise, he's actually sort of your average damaged guy, minus drug usage and cheap women. He's a major smoker, chain smoker, even. Outside of the church, he is fairly quiet, soft spoken. He is an introvert and keeps to himself. The only person he opens up to after church hours is his sister Ade (see below). He did have a serious girlfriend while him and Ade were living in Rome but they broke up because he had to go to Jersey and she needed to stay there. Long Distance was too unrealistic. I love him because he's a contradiction. After a church service, he's the guy out back having a smoke, talking a little lazy, a bit non-chalant. Like if you took away his faith, he'd be looked at as one of those cool guys who in the end will go no where. He'll even smoke pot with people and if called out on that with being a priest he shrugs and asks if they ever actually read the bible and how many drugs those people took.

He needs a bit of everything. I am desperate to start feeling like a real part of Valkyrie again. I have been feeling very distant, only partially because of school and life and everything. So, hey! Plot him up.

She is my Dancing Culturalist

Ade is the younger sister of Luke, she has a very damaged past and is afraid of many things because of it, but at the same time she is a very out going, easily excitable person. She travelled around with her brother and while he was in Rome studying at the Vatican, she was studying dance. She has taken ballet since she was a girl, it was her only refuge from life, but she really refined it in Rome. She studied with some of the best dance companies in the world. She also began to learn about other forms of dance. She is very into the cultural aspect of things. After a bit, I was thinking she would attend community college for dance and cultural studies, I just have to figure out how since she didn't even attend school ever. She self taught herself how to read. She is highly intelligent although not so much with math. So maybe she finds a way to test out and get in, I don't know. I'll figure it out.

She can speak English, Italian and ASL fluently, and a fair amount of French.

Personality-wise. She is an introvert, doesn't let many people in. She is not physically a virgin because of her abusive past but by the way I define it, she is. Ade's not really shy, she's just not one to initiate conversation, but she's receptive. She is a bit afraid of physical contact which is why she avoids the ultra sex-driven dances. Salsa to a level, is okay. Tango to a level is okay, things like that. She is not a dirty dancer, it scares her. She loves her brother and is jealous of his faith, something she hasn't found. She is obsessed with the vast multitudes of human cultures. Ade thinks they're the most beautiful things in the world, but especially loves the differences in cultures expressed through dance. She focuses a lot on learning dances from as many cultures as she can. She's the girl that can rock out to bongos and shell drums in the street. She's a major fan of reggae. Ballet is still her main form, it's the self expression she always comes back to. She sometimes tries to experiment with it though, you know, not only classical music and mixing some moves with different styles. Very non judgmental.

She needs a bit of everything. She is bisexual so yeah. And plot her up for the same reasons as above<3

the one i see him connecting with the most is sarai because she's the nicest and most un-damaged. she'd have a respect for him for his profession though she doesn't hold to the same beliefs. still she'd like him no matter what because that's just the kinda gal she is.

i could see maggie coming to see him every once in a while when she was really at his lowest. she'd probably get a kick out of him too because he's like a low-key priest. not to say she thinks religion is funny, she just shies away from it because of her line of work xD. i could see her chuckling if she found him at the m lounge or something.

other than that a few of my characters i can see having minor run-ins with him. not much though. but if you get any ideas i'm all over that.

of course she and carly would have dancing in common. that much is a given. carly has respect for anyone who shares her love and especially those who have studied ballet because it's such a strict discipline. she's more of a contemporary kinda girl so the rules for that's a little more lax, but she still appreciates a little bit of anything. i think carly might be a little overbearing as far as personalities go because she's got a relatively big one, but as long as she had something to talk about with ade she'd give it a go.

hmm she's a little quiet for most of my brood but if sarai and luke are buds then sarai's the perfect one of my bunch to be friends with her. sarai has a big understanding for different people and she'd be patient with ade when she was being shy whereas some of my others might get frustrated or bored. but if you think of something else please let me know :]

RUBY!!

LUKE:: Luke would think Sarai's incredible. I can see him being a good friend when things are on the more negative side with her and Tony. He would never make a move or anything. The sanctity of love is really something he respects.

He would be against the career. He doesn't have good memories of the crime world and contributing to drug trafficking, murder and all around fucking the lives up of the people in the world, yeah, he would be disapproving. But he wouldn't judge her too harshly simply because he's from that world too and he still feels guilt from his own killings. lol it would be funny if him and Mags meet at then he meets Widow through Maggie, and that's how he and Ade become reunited. I can so see Widow seeing him and being like "YOU" and him "Uhh... I have to go..." And running away lol.

I actually think him and Evan would get along. Like a weird pairing if you look at their professional lives but personality wise I think they would get along.

ADE:: Well, Ade is ballet trained and it's sort of the discipline she always goes back to but she will dance to most any style, except maybe hip hop, she would look awkward hip hop dancing. But she is in love with dance as a way to express culture so she's open to any new form as well as knows a lot of forms from some tribal cultures and stuff. I can see Ade adoring Carly lol. She probably wouldn't know who she was, simply because she's been in Rome for a long time, isn't really a TV watcher unless you count National Geographic and Discovery channel. I don't think she would see Carly as overbearing. As long as Carly isn't like forcing her to do things she really doesn't want to do. She likes big personalities as long as it's underlining tone is a nice one.

Ade's not really shy, she simply doesn't initiate conversations with strangers, but she loves to talk to new people if they strike up the conversation with her.

so call me lame, but i never even knew you posted this thing. shameful, i know. but i'm gonna post now, so it's okay! but anyway, luuuuke <3 so first and foremost, i really think we should plot him and dom more. she's almost done, actually. i just don't wanna finish her up 'til gurms gets lore done so i can kinda correspond with her with him and all. but as for them meeting, i can totally see her showing up to do a confessional or whatever, probably very vaguely. sh'd make it all rhetorical and then mention bits and pieces about her family, never really telling the exact truth, kjust being all, "if i lie for people who do... well, bad things. pretty bad things, actually, am i accountable? i'm even supportive of it in a way. but by common standards, its not good. not at all." or somethg along those lines. her reaction would depend on what her said. either way she'd be really calm, just like "oh, okay." and then maybe since her and ade are meeting through the collage, one day she runs home with ade or something and sees luke there and its like -surprised/confused- "oh hi!" and she'd probably be a bit more friendly the second meeting just cause she'd consider him somebody familiar. but i can already see her just wandering to the church to study or do her homework because i want her to have an really loud, eccentric sort of roommate that makes that hard. i'm thinking of requesting her haha. beside the point, though. she'd go there like annoyed and whatnot that it was too loud and she couldnt think and libraries are too obvious, so somebody might look for her there, so she chose the church because they should be relatively quiet. but luke could go out and sit with her :] aw, can ya just see it? lol. she's really blunt though and all humanitarian, go-green, be nice to your body, so she'd be like "smoking is an ugly habit." out of nowhere, probably followed by a "sorry, that was out of line." and then a "nevermind, not sorry. its bad for you." all awkward and not wanting to offend him but not wanting to apologize for how she feels. meh. i don't know. she'll like him well enough, maybe more than she'd want to admit she does, but she's always been sheltered from everybody and never really, truly let people into her life. she's totally innocent sex-wise, never really been into alcohol though she's had a glass of wine or two at family socials or whatever. but yeah. i'm rambling. if you have ideas, throw them at me, yo. other people to plot with him though? um, i don't know. gale maybe? i hink he'd like the guy well enough, not to mention i feel as though he needs more friends. his only legite plots are with violet, amyra, and bffls with wyatt, but he's not finished. we already got he and rowan. she'll adore him and be sort of maternal even though she's younger than him. not to mention she loves religion and she'll enjoy having a bud who is devout and all. paisely would not want to even associate with him, she's like anti-religious. salem wouldn't run into him until he was back in with the rebel!sirens. emmett would probably like him, actually. maybe every once in a while luke gives a sermon or something at the hospital's little chapel thing and just happens to meet emmett and miah there? miah would be an easy bridge for meeting. she's kind of miss negativity, overly blunt, and a little abrasive, but she'd be kind of interested to hear what luke would say about an afterlife and all. if they started talking about afterlifes, emmett would walk out though. poor guy. and miah would just think luke is the damn near coolest person in the world for being a priest and just really lax and the smoker. oh and good ole syl. she's going to be throwing herself at him like a fourth street hooker. trying to like seduce him only becase he is a priest. that will be a funny thread. xD but other than that i'm kinda spacing anything else.

first of all, she and dom should be like total and complete best friends, i decided. because not many of my babies have that unconditional friendship sort of thing. and they're already such epic friends anyway. dom is going to adore her either way, treat her like the sister she never had <3 i can see them both like awkwardly going out on a limb, trying to do something new together, and it'd just be a cute friendship. not to mention your richardsons are the only plots i really have for her outside of the gio's. and i think we planned on ade and paisely being friends as well, too, right? that'd be good for her. paisely took ballet up until about her junior/senior year and she was fairly decent at it. after they've bonded, i can see ade taking pais out and like reteaching her some of the moves. and paisely needs a hobbie now that all she does is sit around the house. i can even see her like going back to her former piano-playing ways and her and ade could write music and choreogaph dances together? i dunno. and paisely would introduce ade to like everybody she knows. after her and elise make up she'd take her to eat at the gatsby all the time. :]others? well, salem, like luke, wouldn't run into her at all until she was with the rebel sirens again. um, gale would know her through paisely. probably think she's a nice kid and approve, but not much more. i don't think emmett would meet her unless she needed brain surgery. rowan is going to adore her, just like luke, and i think we'd mentioned maybe they'd met a while back when rowan was still with amyra around europe? so we can do a reunion thread. i do a lot of those. haha. she'd teach her to play the guitar. xD umm, syl? i don't know. syl probably would think she's boring and not really care for her much.

so i applaud you for getting to the end. this was messy and mostly really unhelpful.

annnaaa, darling. i know we've talked about plotting these two lovelies with my cubs before, but let's see if we can't come up with some more, yes?

luke mhm, so we've decided that he and irina will have an awesome confessional thread sometime. it will be awesome. i could see her eventually slipping into church to hear him give his sermons and then slipping back out once he's done and maybe gradually start attending whole services once in a while. which would be a big deal, because she went to church when she was young with her family, but she stopped as soon as her parents let her because the congregations always pissed her off for some reason and she somehow always managed to feel very disconnected and isolated during the services. anyway. he could become someone that she vents to all the time when she gets pissed off at everything. she'd wind up taking a pretty big shine to him, i think. she could chill with him after church while he smoked and just kind of ramble on about relatively unimportant shit. other than that, i think he and charlie should be friends. i think we might have mentioned this before. i really need to get off my ass and make him, jeeze. charlie would invite him out to his favorite underground jazz clubs. hrm. that's all i got for now, if you can think of anything else with any of my babes, holla.

ade yeah, we gotta plot her and irina, too. irina would be partially intimidated and partially intrigued by ade. her reactions to her would probably vary day by day. but they're kind of similar because irina's more introverted, too, but can be outgoing at the same time. an extroverted introvert. they could meet through luke somehow, obvs. i could see irina becoming kind of weirdly fixated on her, watching her like a creeper when she's not looking, that kind of thing. she'd think the ballet thing was really cool. i'm not sure how their relationship might turn out because i don't know how ade would react to irina, hehe. other than that... charlie would like her; he loves everybody. so they could be friends, too. he'd try to make her laugh all the time. ack i think that's all for her too. but once again just holla if you can think of anything for anybody.
