(in order from left to right: karlie kloss, lily cole, lily donaldson.)
So these are Dot's best friends in the entire world! Based (extremely loosely) on the show Sex and the City's characters, each one has their own personality and their own set of drama. Their playbys are negotiable but I would prefer if they stayed the ones suggested. They all went to school in New York City, an all female private boarding school, this all of them growing up privileged in some way. They all met around the time they were fifteen and still are wealthy whether because they are in college and living off their parents' money or making their own living. They've all moved to Valkyrie either before or after the earthquake (up to you) and it was because of Dot's upcoming wedding to a guy none of them have met yet. Anything not mentioned is up to you.
First gal we shall call her Kloss (after her playby). She's sweet, reserved, and is simply waiting hopelessly for her prince charming. She's very shy and introverted and a darling through and through. Like the other gals, she is wealthy. She is works in an art gallery in Los Angeles while apprenticing under the artist she works for. Thus, art and creativity is her forte. She is twenty one years old and tends to be the most emotional in the group as well as the most naive. But she, out of all of them, is the most lovable. Her main issue, at the moment, is that she actually met Dot's fiancée when he went to buy some art from the gallery where she works a year back. The two kept in contact and slowly, but surely, she has been falling in love with him...and has slept with him recently. If only she knew that he was indeed the one that was going to marry Dot. She's the closest to Dot.
Next is Cole (after her playby). She is very independent and head strong, as well as a feminist. She doesn't believe in fairy tales and believes if you want your happy ending, you have to go out there and get it yourself. However, despite her somewhat cold exterior, she gets hurt emotionally quite easily and can be a bit shallow. She is twenty one years old and attending law school in Los Angeles. Out of all of them, she tends to think completely logically, having the tendency to put things into pros and cons lists as if they are cases set before a judge. Deep down she has a heart of gold. She just doesn't like to seem weak. She actually highly disliked Donaldson's boyfriend mostly because she feels he is taking Donaldson away from her. She's also knows about Kloss' love for Dot's fiancée but doesn't know how to tell Dot. She is also the only one who knows Kloss actually slept with him while he was still engaged. She's closer to Donaldson because they have been friends the longest out of the four.
Last but not least is Donaldson (after her pb). She is twenty two years old and a writer for a column in the Los Angeles Times. She also writes her own books which are based on the lives of her current best friends (the ones above and Dot) and their many relationship issues, which the gals do not mind being published. She is a mixture of a hopeless romantic and a logical person, often having trouble balancing her heart with her brain, what is right and what is wrong. She is currently head over heels in love with her on-again-off-again boyfriend of three years and whenever they are "on", she has the tendency to sometimes forget her friends exist until there is a crisis in the relationship. Most of her friends think they should just get married or be completely done with each other but she feels there is still so much left to discover about themselves. She doesn't understand why Cole doesn't like him, considering he's the one always pushing Donaldson to constantly stay in contact with her friends. She also knows of Kloss' love for Dot's fiancée but like Cole, doesn't have the heart to tell her.
