BITTERSWEET INNOCENCE.

So this is Lulu Chasity Smirnov. She is twenty two years old and mother to three year old Nikolai Konstantine Smirnov. She grew up in a tiny country town in Russia poverty stricken and as a prostitute since her parents ran out on her older sister and sick younger brother, Ivanna and Savva (respectively). She was sixteen when she married her current husband, Andrei Smirnov, who was to be the next in line for the right as leader of the Russian mafia. Sadly, his father trained Lulu, instead, to become the next leader while Andrei was off being a business man and screwing his personal assistant. In the will, it is stated that Andrei's father chose Lulu as his successor because she was the only one alive in the entire family, blood related or not, to be pure Russian and he only wanted a pure Russian (Andrei is half British, German, and Russian). Lulu figured this out after she seperated from Andrei two and a half years ago (Andrei's father died around that time). Because of this bit of information and because Lulu has no will, he has been hunting her down, leading in her place, in hopes of killing her before she opens her mouth and tells everyone that he is a false leader. Lulu has been hiding out in various other cities and countries with her son and younger brother since she left.

Despite being a complete and total sweetheart with a heart of gold and not a single mean bone in her body, Lulu does know how to defend herself. Her problem is her selfless acts and generosity that make her seem like such an unlikely candidate for a job that requires so much violence when she is such a pacifist. Good natured and trustworthy, she is fiercely loyal to the bitter end. She is currently a waitress and occasionally returns to her past as a prostitute (before she became immensely rich and is now working class again) when money is way too tight at the end of the month. She puts her son and her brother above everyone else since they are her family and she has a strong sense of tradition and practicality about her. She's a sweety and even if you tried to kill her, she would still be nice to you. She's just very optimistic, kind, protective, and nurturing.

With friends she would probably have tons who could come and talk to her about anything because, well, she actually listens and doesn't just sit there like an idiot. She's an active and patient listener and loves to help others so she would be great as people's personal rocks to lean on. With enemies, again, she feels that if she treats others with respect, they will return the favor and if they don't then they don't. She doesn't really hold grudges-but she's human so she might hold a few. It's tough to make her lose her cool so that would be highly unlikely. I can see people getting annoyed with her good natured view on life despite living through some of the crappiest things ever. With lovers, she's completely open for any romantic plots. However, she is currently too fearful for the lives of her family to really think about herself and her need for a companion despite being to independent the majority of her life. If someone can wake her up and make her realize that yes, sometimes she has to worry about herself, that would be fantastic because giving, giving and never getting isn't something that will last her forever.

alrighty, so we've already got a pretty awesome layout of how she and connor are going to meet up and get involved, both business-ly and perhaps romantically at some point? connor's gonna try to kidnap nikolai, but then when lulu offers herself instead, he'll gladly take her. then, when he finds out that andrei wants her dead, he'll very muchly want to turn her over to make his alliance with the russian mafia since he wants a connection with them to get a one-up on the gios if possible... but after he finds out that she is the rightful 'heir' to the russian mafia, he's definitely going to see her as a better ally than a pawn, and he's going to lie to andrei and say she got away or something. and then he shall help her to plan andrei's death. connor likes shooting people. lol

at first, he'd just want to keep her as his ally to have that connection to the russian mob, and i can see him annoyed by her personality, to be honest. he wouldn't like how she's always nice because deep down, he knows people should be jerks to him since he's an ass to everyone else. he'd try to get into her pants, definitely, but he wouldn't fall in love with her persay. he's not the 'love' kind of guy, especially not at this point in his life. lol

lennox and wrynn would be hard to plot with her because 1) lennox is con's little brother, but he wouldn't like connor's plotting and planning concerning her, and he would just avoid the situation altogether rather than be any deeper into the mafia lifestyle than necessary. and 2) wrynn is a gio, so she probably would never meet lulu because she's one of the youngest in the fam, and she only does little jobs here and there to keep her happy so she's not always complaining that she doesn't get in on the family business. lol

ashtyn, aka ash, on the other hand, very easily could have known her during her time as a sex slave/prostitute. she was actually in the ukraine for most of that time, but since the strain of the system she was in was distantly run by the russian mob, it's possible she could have met lulu somehow. lulu's three years older, but that means little in the 'system'. i don't have any good ideas for plots for them like with lulu and connor, but we can certainly come up with something epic, i know!

lulu and connor,

sounds just about right lol. we discussed this via aim so woo! she'd probably object to killing andrei only because she is a total pacifist despite being trained so well to be a killing machine by andrei's father. that and deep down, she knows she still considers him her first love (and the only person she's ever loved in that sort of way) so she would just flat out object to it. sooner or later, she'll give in and take her role as the leader of the russian mafia. something life changing will probably have to happen to her in order to make her snap in a way. but we'll see where that goes. xD! she'd find him charming only because he's so rude and judgmental and she's so used to being around such behavior that it doesn't bother her. that and she's just a sincere person. she'd automatically assume something happened in his childhood that made him that way. i'm going to make them a thread and pm it to connor's account once it's done C:

i actually have an idea for these two. it wouldn't be anything major but since she's a gio, maybe she recognizes lulu's face and is the one to run to the other gio's and tell them the russian mafia is now moving in to town? like maybe she assumes it since she sees lulu around so much and she's obviously a very key person to that organization? i don't know if any of that makes sense haha but it would be like she was putting them on alert that things could get ugly really fast if someone else *cough* connor *cough* managed to get to her first to form an alliance or whatever. the russian mafia is very good with keeping it very tight knit and are ridiculously powerful in europe, though not so much in the united states because they don't totally care for it. with lulu there, however, that would obviously change and bring interest to the states. following me with this? haha xD

lulu and lennox,

yeah. if he ever saw her, i could see lulu just being nice to him, like if they were in the same house or whatever because i don't know where connor plans on putting lulu for this whole kidnapping thing. like she'd be the type that if she saw him sitting in the living room watching television, she'd sit next to him and watch t.v with him....then sweetly give him a note and ask him to deliver it to her address so Savva (her brother) could read it and write back. i know lennox doesn't want to get involved, but i would find it hilarious if he got involved little by little, so gradually, that he didn't even notice it until he figured out lulu was connor's prisoner. haha xD

lulu and ash,

as long as ash eventually made it to lulu's tiny town in russia, then they could have met because lulu didn't have the money or the people to pay for her traveling all over the place. her older sister was her pimp and her older sister was dirt poor so it wasn't like she was at high bidding shows on the black market being whisked away to other places for millionaires to sleep with her. either way, since her's was connected with the russian mafia, lulu would probably attempt to recruit ash when she does take over in order to put an end to the connection the russian mafia has with the prostitution ring-just so they have no connections because prostitution will continue no matter what. if they met while in the system, which i'm sure they did, she'd probably be very good friends with ash by now, even if they kept in contact through secret letters and such. despite ash being three years younger, lulu would trust her enough to leave her younger brother and her son with ash while she's "currently unavailable". she'd hate being away from them but if it keeps them safe-she'd do it.

WITH WRYNN

i like that idea! wrynn's always wanting to get into the action more than she is because she's kinda the baby of the family and never gets to do anything. hee hee plus, she should know by now that her cousin luca is buddies with jamie collins who's also part of the russian mafia, so she'd probably run to luca and tell him about lulu's presence. and in addition to that, wrynn hates connor and knows how badly her cousins luca and violetta hate him, so she would definitely try to warn them before he got to her (although it'll be too late lol).

WITH LENNOX

lennox would totally pass her mail for her and suchlike, especially if he found out that his brother was keeping her prisoner. he would hate what con was doing to her, even if he wasn't hurting her, so he'd argue with his brother, and he'd try to go behind his back whenever he got the chance just to spite him. haha

WITH ASH

i like the idea of them being good friends. lulu would actually understand why ash is so screwed up, and i imagine she would understand why ash doesn't understand that her past is so effed up. ash would definitely take care of her bro and son even though she'd be a horrible influence, and not entirely on purpose. lol
