the beach

who doesn’t love the beach? well valkyrie certainly does it right. pristine white-sand beaches are perfect for sunbathing, jogging, or taking the kids for an outing. valkyrie beach is also known as one of the most well known surfing hot spots and sure enough you’ll always find the locals swarming this place when a good swell hits.
the jetties

the jetties are a great place to get away from the sometimes overcrowded beach, especially when you’re with your honey. the sidewalk heads toward the pier with an ocean of rocks on either side. these smooth stones are a great way to get away and just have some privacy.
the pier

newly refurbished after the earthquake, the pier has been updated with some good old family fun. stores line the boardwalk which has been implemented with a new arcade and amusement park-like rides. the new ferris wheel is a great place to overlook the ocean at sunset.
the docks

the ocean isn’t just for fun and the docks are valkyrie’s premiere incoming and outgoing shipping route. these docks are used for local businesses but it’s rumored that a few crime lords dominate these waters as well. better beware. the curious may stumble upon something they would rather forget.
