i'm going to make this simple. i am requesting phoebe's ex-husband, who i will call fox in this ad because that's his last name. a quick synopsis of phoebe is, she is a daughter of a serial killer but ended up being adopted into captain william monroe's family. she is now working as a forensic psychiatrist. her adoptive father, however, used to be a homicide detective. his partner was detective fox. they are both decorated law enforcement officials as they are the ones that caught the notorious 'chess piece killer' aka phoebe's biological father. detective fox is fox's father. the monroes and the foxs have been long-time family friends, so phoebe and fox grew up together. they didn't start dating until phoebe was in college, but fox followed in his father's footsteps and became a cop. they got married when phoebe was twenty three and fox was twenty five. yeah, they might have been a little on the younger side than most, but they knew everything about each other. she confessed fears about her biological father to fox that she did to no one else. they were extremely happy at first, they truly loved each other. except for two years into the relationship when things just started to get difficult. they would fight about little things from disagreeing about certain homicide cases to working a lot. it wasn't until fox discovered that phoebe was abusing the prescription pill xanax that he couldn't take it anymore and they filed for divorce. that, was three years ago, and while they both have lived in valkyrie all their lives, they haven't spoken to each other since then.
so, i'm thinking that maybe over those three years, fox was promoted to detective (in either homicide or special victims) and he has a murder case he and his partner are working on and they are in need of some help, so their captain said, 'i know someone that might be able to help.' and the captain calls phoebe since she has worked with law enforcement before, so she doesn't think about it and agrees. and so, awkwardness when she arrives and there they are. we can discuss where we want to go from there. i don't do endgames, and they are exes for a reason, but i think they do still care for each other, which can make it more awkward. and after some threads we can decide what we want to do with them. as for specifics. he must one - have the last name fox, two - be thirty years old, and three - be a detective. other than that, he's pretty open. personality is up to you, his history as well, besides the shared history he and phoebe shares. as for faces, i don't really care. he is a cop, so if that helps. the face should also look around her age. but yup! have any question, pm me... lainey.
