Hey there! I'm Anna. One of the staffers here. I love the sound of Roger and am totally up for plottage. HERE is a link to all my characters, if any of them spark your interest just let me know.
As for any ideas in my mind, I have two characters connected to the Italian mob, Tony Giovanni who is now a straight laced FBI agent. And Benito, or Benny, Giovanni who smuggles for his Uncle who is the don of the Italian mob. But that is more of a side favor he does for the family business because he is actually a singer first and for most. He's actually a grammy winner even. But Benny is really down to earth and fun. All around good guy. Actually him and his brother Luca Giovanni who is one of the rising stars in the Italian mafia, played by Lainey, well Luca and Benny both lived in England until they were like 14 so if it works with you, I could see Benny and Roger having already known each other, been friends or something? Maybe if we talk to lainey there could be some sort of Alliance with the English Mob and Italian? I don't know, just shooting out ideas.
The other crime babies I got are from a street gang called the Sirens. It's a famous gang in V-Side world, so he would have probably heard of them. They have similar organization as a mafia but they are more solidly a street gang. They live in shitty apartments and large warehouses and aren't as heavy on family values, although none of my (orion, liz, widow, donny, luke, ade) six sirens are even a part of the gang technically anymore for a long extensive reason I can explain later. And the last crime baby is Kale Barker, he is British too! He's a freelance worker, a munitions expert, he's donny's best friend so he lives with the Sirens but he's known to the crime world as Basher, no one really knows his real name ((except me lol)). The one I really see Roger getting along with is actually, either Liz or Orion or both. Orion is a mechanic at the moment, and a pretty brilliant one, although later he's going to get into training to be a fireman. Maybe Roger needs bike parts or something? Liz is just.... too hard to explain but she's got a bike and knows very well how to ride. She's spirited to say the least.
My girl Mary Connors isn't really involved in the criminal world but she is stubborn and fiery and I think they could clash a fair amount and be fun to plot up.
Sorry my brain is sort of dead on me, but yes, if anyone of the Outsiders spikes an interest. Let me know.

For Tony, I think Roger won't like him very much mainly because of the fact that he is a FBI agent. But than again, it won't be the kind of hate Roger would have for most people that have to do with the government. Since Roger would understand why Tony would defend his family as well as Tony having that connection to the mob. So it would be more of a dislike but don't really acknowledge each other. As for Benito, I can see them getting along and may have already knew each other. Roger spend a far amount of his life in England due to the fact that he does come from England. So they could already knew each other and be friends and most likely still are. There could be an alliance between the Italian and English mob. We could talk to Lainey about it. Should we both pm her or just one of us?
Roger would have heard of them for sure. Since he would be looking for any possible people to join the branch of the English mafia out here. He could have somehow manage to find them or heard of them when he first had come over to the city. Any of those Sirens that were part of the street gang could join Roger‘s mafia or biker‘s pack. That is also if you wanted them to join the mob or the biker‘s pack. As for Kale, it was possible they could meet somehow through the crime world before. They could have meet back up in Valkyrie. Anyway, I can see Roger getting along with both Liz and Orion. He would get along with Orion for he does like fast cars as well as motorcycles. He would get along with Liz because she likes motorcycles and she likes to practice fighting. Roger does like to do different kinds of fight and he could help her with the fighting exercise. Roger would admired the fact she is spirited.
As for Mary, I think they would clash a few times. But the thing is though, how would they meet or even know each other, for Mary isn‘t part of the crime world. |

Yeah Tony has a zero tolerance for the crime world. He doesn't tell the FBI everything he knows about his family because they're his family but he is on very bad terms with everyone, and since he has no real connection to Roger, and he found out? He would go after him, lol. No pity. Benny and him, sounds good. Eh... we don't have to PM her really. She'll get into the c-box eventually, although if you want to, feel free.
That's what I was thinking, although none of them would join, Kale and Donny might do some work for him, if getting handsomely paid. Donny is a hacker, a talented one. Secretly, as in only Kale knows, that Donny is actually an infamous hacker known as A.Heyward who from a computer in chicago caused a blackout in London, so Roger may have heard of Heyward, although he wouldn't know Donny was Heyward since Donny keeps that under his belt. But yeah, they would do hired work for him but they are all about living free from loyalties. Donny was born into the Sirens and they killed his sister because Liz killed her oldest brother who happened to be psycho rapist whose daughter is Widow. And Orion was supposed to kill Liz as punishment but refused putting his life on the line... and yeah, the Sirens tend to be a lot darker in their inter-relations and more unstable than mafia's but they're not nearly so profitable either. Orion's just freshly out of jail and suffers from a lot of guilt from the crimes he's committed. Same with Liz, minus the jail part. Those two are just ready to live life on the legal side of the line, illegal relations sure, but they're living honest. Widow.... she's in law school and going to be one corrupt ass defense lawyer on the Giovanni payroll. None of them are really looking to join up, especially since none of them are from any English Mob families they really have no chance to rise in the power structure without marriage. lol. the girl's a black belt who's been fighting all her life. She doesn't really need help but she would think its funny he offered. I think they would get along but I should warn you, she takes awhile to warm up to new people.
They can meet in a number of different ways. Meet bored online. Meet on the street? Beach? Minor car accident? Bar? although she's usually not the drunk bimbo type lol.

hey! so i'm becca, and roger sounds rad, not to mention he's not joined our ranks of crime-babies. so anyway, onward to plotting.
so i have a few crime babies, though only two who are actively involved. the first is bella rovens. she's the thought to be dead daughter of one of parliament's most dignified members. so maybe she could have known roger back in the day since she lived in london until she was about seventeen. she joined the brazilian mafia after that. long story though, read her history <3 anyway, so she joined them, and ended up betraying them. she created her own freelance business after that, selling mostly weapons, but drugs and stuff as well. she also makes people disappear with the help of her business partner, syl rivers. he didn't leave the brazilians on good terms though, so she has this bounty on her head because of it, and they're always on her tail. fortunately for her she is/will be on good terms with the italians and a couple russians, so she's fairly safe. but yeah, so if he hadn't known her back in london, he could have used her services over the years. and then my next most involved character is syl rivers. she and her sister, joey, have been living in vegas for the past year, scamming the system. she's a good hacker too (though not as talented as donny, but she's aspiring to get there) and she's also a hell of a pilot. she will do stuff for people if paid. she has a psychopathic brother who murdered her parents out there somewhere, so she and syl have always kind of been on their toes. syl is... well in the simplest terms possible: a total bitch. not to mention she's kind of mentally unstable. so she would be a complete asshole to roger. she's like that to everybody. even her "friends." the only person she's genuinely kind to is joey. so yep.
those are the first two that come to mind right off the bat. but i'm pretty open to all plots/ideas. so feel free to check out all my characters here and let me know if any of them strike your fancy!

Fine for both Tony and Benny. For now, Tony won't know Roger yet or or what Roger is doing. Mainyl due to teh fact Roger had just moved from New York to Valkyrie as well as being in England for the past seven years. That is how long Roger be in the Mafia and Roger isn't quite as well as known as his father would be. So if Tony is going to go after Roger it would be a while.
I wil admit, It was just a thought with some of your character’s joining the mafia. I did thought of having Roger hiring some of them at times as well. But I wanted to throw out the mob out there first just to see if they wanted to join the mafia or anything. Honestly I was not really thinking of having Roger ask Orion and Liz to join the mafia. Mainly because Roger wouldn't think of asking them, for they would be his friends that aren't in the mob. That is one thing about Roger is that he won't force anyone to join the Mafia. He gives them the choice, Roger doesn't give them much info of the job or the company unless if they accepted or they are already part of a mob. I will admit I did thought of maybe Roger hiring Kale and Donny for some jobs. I am sure Roger will have enough money to pay them. I will admit, I thought we could plot Roger and Widow up.
I think the best place they would have meet is on the street or at a bar.

It's very likely they had knew each other from London. Alex sent half of his time in England growing up. The other time spend in New York till he was 17 when he helped burst his sister out of jail. It was than till a few months back he had lived in London all year long. So they could have meet with ease. My guess is that are first he may have believe that story of her disappearance or murder. That is till he may have learned of her selling all those weapons and started buying things from her. |
